EA have released a gameplay movie of FIFA 2005 which features Arsenal up against AC Milan.
This recorded match is played on semi-pro difficulty and if you look closely you will be able to see the likes of Shevchenko and Henry using first touch to take them away from their defenders.
TVG interview several producers of FIFA 2005, who answer each question great detail. In this interview EA are not shy to talk about what it takes to make a successful soccer game, even talking about it's main rival, Pro Evolution Soccer 4.
"It’s very evident when picking up the latest offering of FIFA to see that there have been many improvements in areas that once were dominated by Pro Evo."
First Touch in FIFA 2005 is demonstrated in a movie just released by EA Sports. The movie shows the likes of Vieira, Morientes and Shevchenko using first touch to their advantage. The good news is that the moves in these videos are 100% actual gameplay.
Dean Richards, part of the FIFA production team, has talked to GameZone about FIFA 2005. He talks about gameplay, career mode, animations and more.
"The new animation system allows the animators to adjust the speed, timing and blending of animations. This gives the animators more control over the look and feel of the game than ever before and in the end allows for more responsive controls to the user."
The design of the Downloads Centre, which hosts a huge range of FIFA files, has been improved. This design will take us into 2005 and beyond in what we hope will be a great time for soccer games and FIFA.
EA's latest installment of FIFA has been put on show with eight new gameplay movies at IGN.
These gameplay movies are the first good look we get of the English version of FIFA 2005. One set of movies features Arsenal vs. Real Madrid, with another set of movies featuring AS Roma against Juventus.
