We are looking for some new news reporters to post here and at Soccer Gaming. If you are interested please email webmaster@soccergaming.com for more details. Tell us about yourself and why you feel you would be right for the job. There would be some benefits on offer if you were to become a successful news poster (eg. the odd free game).
Breamster.com will be adding yet another feature to the site, and this time we'll be adding a Community Online Magazine. It will be sent out via email to the subscribed user (FREE to join) on a fornightly (2 week) basis where it will include news, interviews, patch review/previews and more from all community sites, concerning all the football sims (i.e FIFA, PES, EURO, etc)
We will be setting up a dedicate site, so that people can register and also add news (importnant for webmasters and patch makers to advertise their work)
At present we are in the final stages of setting this up and are looking for staff. You all have the oppurtunity to become a Magazine Reporter.
Job Description:
As a reporter, we would expect you to go around the community sourcing information about patches, game info and performing interviews via email/msn with any of the leading figures (webmasters, patchmaker, etc)...
You will then send the results back to Breamster.com (written as an article) with images if required. Your article will then be considered and will either be included in the latest version, or added to an archive for later use.
All articles are done at your own discretion and sometimes we may ask for stuff in particular... I would also like to see a few submissions per two weeks, on a variety of topics.... exclusives, tips, etc would be cool
Dont worry if your English aint all that, mine aint either and im English! - we will correct all spelling and grammer before adding to the final publication.
The community is getting very big now, so it is hard to keep up-to-date with all sites and their work (i.e visit each and everyone, all the time) Having reporters that are used to, and experienced with different countries sites will be really good, as the "smaller sites" can be included, giving them more hits from the publicity in the magazine.
If you wanna join the best community site, then now is your chance!

After more than seven years, today is my last day as Webmaster of Soccer Gaming. Although an emotional day for myself, by no means is this bad news. It is actually the beginning for some very exciting times for not only Soccer Gaming, but myself as well.
On a personal note, I am extremely excited as I will very shortly be packing my bags to make the big move from my homeland, Australia, over to Canada. I have recently accepted a position with EA to be an Assistant Producer for FIFA. What has always been my "dream job" is now a reality and I am literally counting down the days until I start.
Due to my new job, I will be stepping down from my position at Soccer Gaming. Lior Fengas, who many of you will already know, will be taking over from me. Lior has been with out doubt the hardest working Soccer Gaming team member since he joined our staff back in 2000. I could not be happier with someone as wise and skilful as Lior taking over from me as Webmaster of Soccer Gaming.
One of Lior's first tasks as Webmaster will be to over see our new design which will be going live in the next week or so. Soccer Gaming will continue to grow as it has for the past seven years and of course keep the same high standards in our news, downloads, forums and network site hosting. If you have any questions for Lior he can be contacted at his new email address.
When I started Soccer Gaming, I could never in my wildest dreams have imagined what an incredible experience lay ahead of me. The site that started it all, FIFA 98 Online, opened back in October 1997 on a free account at Geocities. I had a whole 2MB of webspace to work with. I can remember my overwhelming joy when the site received 70 page impressions in its first 24 hours of operation. The network now receives over 300,000 page impressions per day. I am extremely greatful for the amazing times and memories Soccer Gaming and its visitors have brought me. There are so many people I would like to thank for their support and contributions over the years. Where to start?
Lior Fengas - Your incredible dedication to Soccer Gaming still amazes me. Thanks mate for the endless late nights you have put in fixing our servers. With out you, this network would not exist.
Mark Geneste - Your professionalism and wisdom in this industry is beyond compare. You are a very trustworthy human being and a great individual to work with.
Anthony Barker - Your amazing site designs are a huge part of what makes Soccer Gaming such a sucess.
Chau Le - Thanks for your support, guideance and for being a great mate.
Forum Moderators - Thank you for your commitment and contribution in making our Forums as popular as they are. Special thanks to Kader, Hakeem, Hercules, IceBlu and all the other moderators (aplogies if I forgot anyone important) who give up thier time each day to moderate the boards.
Joe Lemon - In the time I've known you I have watched you grow from a reckless teenager into what I hope I can class as a very respectable, and likeable friend.
Leo - One of the most commited FIFA community members I have ever met. Thank you for your dedication to the Downloads Centre.
Dave Witts - Thank you for all the time and effort you have put into posting news on our websites. You are a terrific bloke who I hope I can catch up with again in the near future.
Daniel Vassallo - No idea if you will read this. Many thanks for your terrific contribution in the early years of the site.
Tom Bramwell - Thank you for the great contribution you made to getting the first Soccer Gaming website off the ground.
Adam Goldenberg, Tim Collins and Tony Wyss - Not sure what you guys are up to. Thank you for your incredible support in helping Soccer Gaming grow into the site is today. GA Games - yeah! ;)
News Reporters and Reviewers - Thank you to everyone who has reported news and written reviews for Soccer Gaming over the years.
Community Webmasters - Thank you for the terrific experiences and friendships I have built up. Inparticular Chris, Rimo, Xavier, Stefan, Rob Marney, Chris Davies and everyone else who I met along the way. Special thanks to Joey Jones for keeping me on my toes ;)
Finally, thank you to everyone who has visited and supported Soccer Gaming over the years. I know I have surely forgotten some people, and for that I am sorry (no disrespect meant). If anyone wishes to contact me, you can do so through my usual email address.
Well, here we have it, my final paragraph. Geez, what an amazing ride! Thank you again to everyone!
Please be sure to keep visiting Soccer Gaming in the future. I know I will be!
The guys from SoccerGameZ have informed me about their latest patch, called Road to Dutch Glory 2004. This patch fixes the Dutch team in EURO 2004 full game. Here is a full listing of the patch's features:
The well known Russian site FIFASoccer.ru published a new EURO 2004 Demo patch. After installing it on the english version of EURO 2004 Demo (ENG vs. FRA) you'll have Portugal, Russia and Spain teams with 2GK kits for all teams and faces for all russian players.
To ensure the accuracy of your team's kits in FIFA 2005, we have opened a topic in the Soccer Gaming Forums where you can post photos of your team's new season kits as they are released.
If you are interested in contributing, check out this thread.

Ariel Santarelli from SoccerAccess started new era in FIFA/EURO editing. He created a great patch that turns your EURO 2004 Demo (any version) into a Real Mardid versus FC Barcelona match! The patch is available in three parts, where parts #1 and #2 are required, part #3 is optional (but recommended, it includes perfect chants). Ariel will release another version of this patch soon, you can vote what teams you want at SoccerAccess. So far it seems that a german derby Bayern Munich vs. Borussia Dortmund will be the choice.
Update: if you have any problems running this patch, try the latest fix released at SoccerAccess.
