Career Mode Confirmation From EA
We have also got confirmation from EA's Matt Holme regarding Career Mode in FIFA 2005:

"I have been reading the forums and noticed that people have the misconception that you cannot change regions once you start a career. This is completely incorrect. You can change regions at the end of each year if you wish.

So if you start off in England, and suceed there, you are free to move to Mexico next year and see what clubs are offering you jobs there. It all depends on your prestige level and how successful you have been in your career to date as to which teams you will be offered. A tip though... if you have a favourite club that you want to coach, make sure you set them as your favourite team in "My FIFA 2005". You will be pleasently surprised at the end of your first season if you have met the board's requests."

EA would like to expand their team of researchers even further. If you would like to know how you can become a part of EA's research team, or just want to read more about Matt's role at EA, then check out the FIFA Research Community Report.
